The sea is never far away, whether it’s the marina at nearby Amble, a trip to Seahouses

 We're right in the heart of the Northumberland Heritage Coast ~ an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ~ yet only a few miles from the A1 and the East Coast Main Line railway


 There are about two dozen beaches in the North East, recommended by the Good Beach Guide including Warkworth beach, less than a mile from Warkworth House Hotel (see map)


 Here you’ll find miles of wonderful dunes, sandy beaches and tidal rock pools
to enjoy, with some of the best opportunities for Birdwatching in the country, too
