Here's another fairly recent one from
Trip Advisor...
We have just returned from a lovely weekend in
Warkworth staying at the Warkworth House Hotel. It was a great
find, the staff were friendly, the food was wonderful and our
room one of the newly refurbished rooms was super.
If you are going to Walkworth this hotel offers great value for
money, lots of lovely food, both dinner and breakfasts were
superb. However do ask for one of the refurbished rooms as the
older stock are looking rather sad. The public areas have all be
refurbished and are very fresh looking.
The hotel was in a great location for exploring both Warkworth
and nearby atractions. We visited Holy Island, Alnwick,
Seahouses, Craster and Amble. We had great fun going out on the
Puffin Cruise boat to see not only the tiny puffins but seals
too. The crew were really welcoming and told us lots about the
wild life and birds. by 'Kendallady' Sent: 02 November 2006
To: Warkworth House Hotel Subject: RE: Reservation We just wanted to say a big thank you to you and all of your
staff for their excellent service and friendliness during our
short visit.
We really enjoyed our staff and the food and wine was delicious
- we couldn't fault it
(and that makes a change for me!).
We may visit you again but meanwhile, many thanks.

Dear All,
The friendly, professional service, the very comfortable
accommodation and - not leastly -
the excellent cuisine
combined to ensure that we enjoyed our first visit to the North
East.
Many thanks to all the Staff for making our stay so enjoyable.
We hope to return sooner rather than later! Best wishes, Linda and David
