The hotel enjoys a fine position in Warkworth, a village cradled by a loop of the River Coquet and set less than a mile inland on the Northumberland Coast. Now a comfortable 3-Star Hotel, Warkworth House was built as a coaching inn on the site of four C18th burgage houses


We are open seven days a week all year round for food, drink & accommodation
Coaching inns were established along stagecoach routes across the country as welcome places for travellers to rest. Today we offer a range of rooms including newly-refurbished executive rooms with stylish, modern facilities and also two ground floor rooms with wheelchair access
We have wheelchair access to our public areas, too ~ the No. 16 Restaurant, Bar and Bistro

Royal history
The hotel contains a fine staircase, originally from Brandenburg House in London, home of the notorious 'Rebel' Queen Caroline of Brunswick, first cousin and second wife of King George IV
