Tranquillity Zones in Southam

What is a Tranquillity Zone?

A Tranquillity Zone is a haven of peace, a chance to relax for a while in tranquil surroundings. It consists of relaxing music and inspiring quotations in a peaceful and meditative atmosphere. The readings are on themes such as love, healing, inner peace, harmony. The programme lasts for about 40 minutes and is followed by refreshments. We often try to decorate the room to help achieve a tranquil atmosphere:

Tranquillity Zones are held on the last Wednesday of every month at 6 Welsh Road West in Southam, 7.30 for 7.45pm. On the other Wednesdays a devotional meeting is held instead, at the same time and place. For information about devotional meetings or to see the forthcoming programme for these and the tranquillity zones, click here.

In 2001 the Bahá'ís held a Tranquillity Zone as part of the Healthy Living Fair at the Grange Hall. It was quite a challenge to convert the bar into a place of tranquillity! Tranquillity Zones are offered as a service by the Bahá'í community. If you would like one to be held for your group or organisation, please click here to mail your request.

Everyone is most welcome to both devotional meetings and Tranquillity Zones.
