Children's Activities in Southam

Children are an important part of the Bahá'í community. They are always involved in Bahá'í meetings to the fullest extent possible. In addition, Bahá'ís are concerned for the welfare of all children.

Children are usually included when youth activities are organised. The youth arts weeks included separate provision for children and in October 2001, a special Children's Activity Day was held for United Nations Day at the Graham Adams Centre.

Children's classes are held in Southam on a regular basis, depending on how many children there are of a suitable age. For those aged 11 or over, there are junior youth groups, for details of these click here. Bahá'í children’s classes are generally suitable for any child as each lesson centres on one of the virtues such as honesty or friendliness. They also learn to say prayers and they have fun with songs, games and crafts. For more information about classes click here to mail your request.
