Open Weekend

the second one was held on 12th and 13th June 2004

11am - 5pm

6 Welsh Road West, Southam

 

Explaining about the history of the Baha'i Faith  

 

The following were offered:

Cream teas

All weekend in aid of minefield charity

 Faith in the Future

A brief talk and discussion Saturday 3.30pm

  Finding True Happiness

Introductory study circle Saturday 7.30pm

  Tranquillity Zone

Meditation on Inner Peace Sunday 4pm

followed by a bring and share meal

    During the weekend the following were available: 

·        poster displays on the history, the beliefs and principles of the Bahá'í Faith

·        a short video of the Bahá'í gardens on Mount Carmel and another giving a brief history of the Baha'i Faith

·        leaflets (choose from 50 titles – from Health and Healing to World Peace)

·        books to browse, books to buy and books to borrow

·       a sit down, a cup of tea and a friendly chat

·        a quiz

·       activities for children

We don't currently have any plans for another open weekend but this could well change!
