Open Weekend 2003

Our very first open weekend was held on the 7th & 8th June 2003.

    The following were offered: 

·        poster displays

·        a video of the Bahá'í gardens on Mount Carmel and a brief history of the Baha'i Faith

·        leaflets (choose from 50 titles – from Health and Healing to World Peace)

·       books to borrow from the lending library

·        a quiz

·        a book display (and buy some if you wish)

·       a sit down, a cup of tea and a chat

 PLUS activities for children 

The following special events were held:

Cream teas

with donations for the Adopt-a-Minefield campaign to clear a minefield in Mozambique

 Faith in the Future

Saturday evening a talk and discussion

 Tranquillity Zone

Sunday afternoon spiritual relaxation session
