Prayer Meetings

Meetings of a devotional nature are held every Wednesday evening at 6 Welsh Road West in Southam, 7.30 for 7.45pm. On the last Wednesday of the month this takes the form of a Tranquillity Zone. A Tranquillity Zone is a special sort of devotional meeting - a musical meditation. For information about Tranquillity Zones, click here. On the second Wednesday of the month we have general prayers for those who need healing. The other devotional meetings consist of prayers and readings on a particular theme.

This is the programme for November and December 2009:

November 4th     Prayers for Healing

11th  Holy Day – Birth of Bahá’u’lláh

                   18th   Choose your own

25th   “Service”

          (tranquillity zone)

 December   2nd     Prayers for Healing

9th     Human Rights Day

16th    Choose your own

                   23rd   “Peace on Earth”

30th   “New Year, New Start”

          (tranquillity zone)

“Choose your own” evenings – choose a prayer from the prayer books provided or bring something to share.

There is usually a short discussion after the devotional.
