Ceramic Painting
For ceramic painting, sit in the main studio, select a piece of unpainted pottery called ‘bisque’ and paint it to your taste and style using our ceramic paints. We will glaze and fire it for you, and you can collect it 5 to 6 days later.
Ceramic painting is great fun for children, but also fun, relaxing and therapeutic for adults. We have a small play area for the young ones. (who usually finish much quicker than the rest of us!) Come along with friends and sit and
chat while you create your own work of art.
How It Works
When you arrive a member of staff will greet you (please
bearwith us if it is very busy). Choose what item(s) you
wish to paint. A staff member will come over once you
are seated and explain what to do and give some painting
tips. You are welcome to use as many colours as you need
and we have no session charge or time limits. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you wish to create your perfect individual item!
Once you have completed your work of art we will write up your receipt detailing all the items you have painted plus any drinks purchased. The receipt will state when your item(s) will be ready. This is usually 5 days later, so, for example, if you paint on a Saturday afternoon your item would be ready for collection from start of business on the following Thursday.
When you come to collect your item we will show it to you then wrap it in tissue paper to protect it on its journey home.
