Hobbies. John is a member of the cave and mine rescue services similar to mountain rescue but underground.
He's also had some theatrical parts as an extra because of his rope and safety expertise. Have a look at this photo below. A fine figure of a man!  That will be him on

John joins us after
working for Andrew Bartons (Newburn) for many years. Those of
us who know the Barton enterprise will know of the racing connections,
engineering, and specialised welding fields, to mention a few.
John's knowledge and expertise especially with Rover vehicles
will be a great asset to Western Way Garage. He has also designed
and built his own jet engine!!!
