NEXT LINK UP:

The next Link up will be for the two months, December/January. If you have any contributions going into 2010, please let the Warden know. Meantime we need a Beckham correspondent to take over the job from the end of March 2010; volunteers please again to the Warden.

CHRISTMAS EVENT:

We shall be having a Christingle Service in Beckham Church on Friday 18th December- and a winter Warmer, more next month.

NORFOLK CHURCHES TRUST SPONSORED CYCLE RIDE:

We were represented again this year by the West family to whom we are most grateful.  Bethany aged 9 visited eight churches on her horse Peaches. We have sent off £50 and are still collecting money: Retrospective sponsorship will be most welcome; please contact the warden. More on this next month.

COMMITTED TO GROWTH:

We shall be Praying Together on this project and other pray concerns in West Beckham Church on Friday, November 13th from 10.00 to 11.00am; do come along.

HARVEST FESTIVAL:

Our Harvest was the latest in the Group this year; the church looked an absolute delight, many thanks to all who were responsible for the outstanding decorations, and to all those who provided the flowers, fruit, vegetables, preserves etc and TIME, to make it all possible. The Longest Apple Peeling competition was won by junior, Sophia McNeil Wilson, with a length of 54 inches and, senior, by Lizzie Ashcroft with a length of 69 inches! The auction proceeds amounting to £85.33 will be donated to Water Aid.

MORE THANKS:

More thanks to Ray Smith who has produced some very good candle grease protectors for our altar candlesticks from solid brass. They look so good and are a great improvement on the former plastic ones.
