HARVEST:
There was a good attendance at the Village Hall United Harvest
Service on September 20th. Afterwards, 30 parishioners sat down to an excellent
lunch prepared by Eve and Ray Smith. A very big THANK YOU to
them for taking on this task. The Harvest Service offertory and profit
from the lunch which amounted to £211.69 were donated to Water Aid. Thank you
to all who contributed to this very worthy cause.
GIFT DAY:
A big THANK YOU, too, to all those who contributed to the Church
Gift Day. The amount raised will be included in the next issue of Link up. If
you were unable to give a gift on the 17th October, and would like to do so,
this can be given to Rev. Peter or Ann Digby (Church
Secretary).
TERRY CHAPPELLE CONCERT AND AUTUMN BAZAAR:
The outcome of the Concert and Bazaar held at the end of October
will be reported in the next issue of Link up.
CYCLE RIDE ON THE 12th SEPTEMBER:
There were no cyclists from Bodham this year but 25 others called
at the Church during the day. The Church was fully manned for this event.
COMMEMORATION SERVICE:
There will be a special Service in All Saints' Church, Bodham at
3pm on Sunday 1st November to commemorate departed loved ones. If you wish to
have a special person or persons remembered, please give the name(s) to Father
Phil. (Tel: 588268) as soon as possible before that date. Names can also be
given to Peter Alexander (Tel: 588126)
who will pass them on to Father Phil. (
REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE:
The Service for Remembrance Day is to be held in All Saints Church,
Bodham this year. The Service will begin in Church at 10.50am and the Service
will include an Act of Remembrance at the Memorial and the laying of wreaths.

CHURCH PORCH:
Another big THANK YOU to Ray Smith for his
preparing and installing the new Notice Board in the Church Porch. That is a great asset to
us. Thank you! Visitors will note that the swallows have now departed and Ray
has plans to inhibit their return.
