ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING:

All members of the PCC agreed at the annual meeting to serve for the

coming year, as did the churchwardens. We welcome Susan Lee and Derek Hobbs who join the committee.  We are particularly grateful to Ina McCann, our Secretary, who ably tames the increasing quantities of paperwork submitted to the parish from many quarters.

The meeting expressed warm gratitude to our organists: to Elizabeth

Martin who retired during the year; to Marion Price, Maisie Mack and Angela Dugdale who play for us regularly; and to the willing few who have helped us out when asked - Angela Coote, Mary Hobbs and Kate Holt.

LENT BOXES:

Collections this year amounted to £230-26 and will benefit Global Care.

A very good result.

FRANCES BOBY:

Our best wishes go to Frances Boby as she begins her new life in

Hampshire.  Frances worshipped at All Saints for some forty years, contributing unfailingly to the work of the church in many ways, not least in providing flower arrangements, notably at festivals.  On coming to

Weybourne, Frances and Mike lived at the Windmill, their holiday home,

which was to become their permanent residence until they moved to Field House nearby.  After she was widowed Frances bought Rose Cottage (in The Street) where she has lived for some fifteen years.

What is not forgotten in Weybourne are the many contributions to village

life, among them the charity events held in the Field House garden in support of the 'Big C' and a lively involvement with Weybourne W.I.  Friends in Weybourne trust that it will not be long before Frances and her daughter, Lisa, pay them a visit. Come soon!
