About E-LinkUp Electronic Parish Magazine of the Weybourne Group of Parishes

E-Linkup is the electronic version of ‘Link-Up’ the Parish magazine of the Weybourne Group of Parishes. Our aim is to make the information available in the magazine to those who might be away from home, have a family interest in the group, and for the many people who have homes in the group and elsewhere, or those who just prefer web to paper! The Weybourne Group consists of six parishes (East + West Beckham, Bodham, Kelling, Salthouse, Upper Sheringham, and Weybourne), which lie roughly between Sheringham and Holt. We are part of Holt Rural Deanery, Norwich Diocese, and Province of Canterbury. We are a diverse group with traditions ranging from the traditional to the less formal. Each church has its own individual ‘flavour’, but we meet together as friends and colleagues. This breadth of approach and diversity means that for the visitor or resident one of the churches is likely to provide a familiar approach. Bodham and West Beckham are generally ‘low’ church, and trying to innovate around youth involvement. Salthouse and Kelling are more traditional Cof E: Kelling has a strong tradition in the use of BCP, and Salthouse very strong musical and artistic links. Weybourne and Upper Sheringham have strong ‘high’ church traditions, and have regular sung masses based on Common Worship. Both the latter parishes have the sacrament reserved. All of the churches promise you a very warm welcome should you be able to visit. We hope to expand what the E-Zine offers as time goes on.
