A stunning 19th century Laterndluhr.
This well figured example with typical maple stringing also has carved ripple mouldings and a carved Moustache top pediment.
The month duration movement with Dead-Beat escapement, maintaining power, beat adjustment, features typical of a high quality regulator.
The beautiful dial has an engine turned gilt centre and an engine turned gilt bezel, both superbly decorated.
