A very well figured mahogany longcase clock by Samuel Olliver of Tonbridge.
This pleasing small clock has good detailing with canted reed angles to the hood and moulded trunk door surround. The hood also has a shaped cresting which is mounted with ball and spire finials.
The cresting is typical of clocks of this region ( Kent )
The superb silvered dial has recessed seconds, concentric calendar and strike silent to the arch.
