An elegant rosewood Vienna Regulator. The pleasant case is well detailed with maple stringing to the outer edges of the glazed apertures and the moulded top. The curved doorframe is mounted with carvings on the four corners. There is also carved decoration to the bottom of the case and the detachable cresting on top.
The 8-day movement hasa  dead-beat escapement and a beat adjuster. The enamel dial has a decorative ‘pie-crust’ surround.
