A well figured walnut longcase clock of pleasant colour. The 8-day movement with an inside countwheel strike has an 11” dial and is signed on the chapter ring with makers name.
William Sharpe was apprenticed to John Ebsworth in 1672. He was freed in 1681 and paid quaterage to the clockmakers company until at least 1705.
