| The first question that our staff will ask you is, when is your wedding date? Dresses can take anything up to six months prior to your wedding date to order and be delivered. It is important to allow yourself plenty of time if you are looking for a particular style of wedding dress, so that we are able to cater to your request. |

| It may be worth considering limiting your choice to a few bridal shops to start looking. Too much choice may confuse. |

| Allow yourself on average 1-2 hours in each shop to try a selection of different styles on. |

| Try to keep an open mind! You may have an idea of what you are looking for, but until you try that particular style on you may change your mind. This also goes for accessories e.g. veils. A dress that you see on a hanger will look very different when you try it on. |

| Take advice from our bridal shop staff and be prepared to try anything they suggest even if you are not sure. |

| Be realistic with your budget for your gown and bridesmaid dresses, taking into account accessories. Don't be afraid to tell our staff your budget. |

| Bear in mind that there will be additional costs to the price of the dress. This will normally be in the form alteration fees, if required. |
