Our Brass Rubbing Paper is a special formula, created many years ago, specifically for the purpose of Brass Rubbing. Brass Rubbing Paper is finer and stronger than Normal paper, allowing much better image definition without the risk of tearing. We stock a large range of sizes of Brass Rubbing paper in both rolls and cut sheets. A word about your choice of Brass Rubbing paper; Black paper is rather more forgiving of errors than white paper. With even the best erasers, a smudge will probably show up on White paper, which would have been 'hidden' by black paper. Unless you are very proficient, we suggest always using black paper. (Either way, White Winds sells a special eraser that works very well with Brass Rubbing wax). We have a very limited supply of rolls of white Brass Rubbing paper, and once it is gone, there will never be any more. (Our manufacturer makes five tons at a time, and while the sale of black paper justifies this, the sale of white does not, so regrettably, we will not be making any more white paper).

Black Brass Rubbing Paper We stock a wide range of common sizes of black brass rubbing paper, in both rolls and cut sheet formats.

White Brass Rubbing Paper We have a limited stock of rolls of white brass rubbing paper, mainly in rolls. White paper is not as "forgiving" as black paper, as mistakes can't easily be removed. Regretably, once our stocks of white brass rubbing paper run out, we will be unable to supply any more, since the manufacturer is no longer able to make it in realistic batch sizes.
