Wondering what to do with all those perennials that need dividing? Pot them up and bring them to the swapshop! What a great way to meet fellow gardeners and expand your garden at the same time. It works like this, for every healthy happy plant you bring along to get to swap it for a plant someone else has brought along. Please label all plants with one of the attached labels (more can be obtained by calling 562543 or please make your own with the same details) If you don't know the details asked for I challenge you to find out. You can use the web, your gardening books or magazines or just ask someone. Coffee & Tea will be on hand (volunteers please!!!)
Volunteers please take one step forward and to let me know if are willing to help out.
- You can bring perennials, rooted cuttings, seeds, shrubs, vines, just about anything that will grow well in our area. You can also bring gardening books and gardening tools.
- Bring as many plants as you want. The more variety there is the better.
- Plants must be in containers! And a supply of carrier bags would be useful!
- Seed collected from your garden should be in sealed paper envelopes and labelled with as much information as possible. Sowing instructions too please!
- Plants should be labelled with one of the attached labels.
- Please bring only healthy, established, non-invasive plants that you would be pleased to bring home to your own garden.
