The Sky Centre:
Founded in 1983, it is by far one of the best equipped centres within the British Parachute Association (B.P.A.).  The Sky Centre, which is open to the public, has full catering facilities, TV’s, video/DVD players and a pool table.  As a result it was the first centre to be awarded a Certificate Of Merit for Excellence by the B.P.A.

A full time operation, the centre itself is open seven days a week, all year round (some closures during the holiday periods).  Office hours are 10am to 5.00pm (week days).  There are no restrictions on jump times and height, jump dawn to dusk if you wish at weekends; mid-week by prior arrangement.  And courses take place every Saturday and Sunday (mid-week if numbers justify).

There is a purpose built hangar that houses our aircraft: a Cessna Caravan and a Cessna 206.  It also holds the indoor training facilities: briefing room, fan trainers, suspended harnesses, a carpeted packing area, creeper area with 8 creepers, and a visitors’ viewing area.

In addition to these features, the centre has a Parachute Display Team which is available to jump into your event.   So if you are looking for something a little unique and exciting, which will make any event even more special, then check out our Parachute Display Team page.

The centre has bunk house accommodation for those who wish to stay overnight, just bring a sleeping bag and there are hot showers.  There is ample parking for you, your family and friends, who are more than welcome to watch you train and do your first jump or your one thousandth jump.

If you are a jumper from another centre and have no kit of your own, do not worry, as we have club kit for hire, for both student parachutist and experienced alike. We have also hosted the British National Open Parachute Championships in three disciplines and the All-Ireland Skydiving Competitions.

Tourism In the Area:
While jumping, why not use us as a base to explore the wonderful North Coast?  The world’s famous Giant's Causeway, Bushmills distillery - the world’s oldest whiskey distillery, the Glens of Antrim, Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the long golden sand beaches of Benone/Downhill and the strands of Portrush and Portstewart are all within easy reach.  View sporting spectaculars, such as the prestigious and world famous North West 200 motorcycling race, the Portrush Raft Race and the Milk Cup football tournament or go under water, as we have some fantastic diving sites around our coast.
