Garvagh is situated on the A29, halfway between Coleraine and Maghera. Given below is just some directions on how to get to us from a few locations. However if you intend coming to join in with one of our jump courses, then please check your own route beforehand, and allow yourself sufficient time.
Directions From Belfast:
· On the M2 / M22, follow the signs for Ballymena and L/Derry.
· The M2 / M22 will end but continue on, as this is the A6, follow the signs for L/Derry.
· Take the by-pass around Toome, towards L/Derry.
· At the junction of the A31/A54 (Castledawson), take the 2nd exit off the roundabout towards L/Derry on the A6.
· Travel for 6 miles and turn right onto the Mullagh Road for Maghera.
· At the Tee-junction at the end of Mullagh Road turn left and go into Maghera town centre.
· In Maghera town centre, turn right at the Bank/Hotel, and follow the signs for Coleraine.
· Travel for 10 miles on the A29 until you reach Garvagh.
· In Garvagh, at the crossroad, turn right for Kilrea - B64.
· Go for 200m and turn left (opposite O’Connell’s garage), onto Station Road.
· Travel for 2 miles and the Sky-centre will be on the left.
Directions From Larne / Ballymena:
· From Larne go on the A8 towards Belfast.
· Turn right onto the A36 for Ballymena.
· At the junction with the M2/A26 take the 2nd exit for Ballymena town centre.
· Take the 2nd exit at the Pennybridge roundabout.
· Take the 1st exit at the Ballykeel roundabout.
· Take the 2nd exit at the Braid Water roundabout.
· In Ballymana take the B62 for Cullybackey.
· Go through Cullybackey and turn right onto the Kilrea Road on the B62 to the B64 for Kilrea.
· At Kilrea take the 2nd exit at the roundabout for Garvagh, B64.
· In Garvagh turn right (opposite O’Connell’s garage) onto Station Road.
· Travel for 2 miles and the Sky-centre will be on the left.
Directions From L / Derry:
· Follow the signs for Limavady / Coleraine on the A2.
· Take the by-pass around Limavady.
· 1 mile from Limavady turn right onto the B66 (Ringsend Road) for Garvagh.
· Go for 6.5 miles to Ringsend.
· At Ringsend turn right onto the B66 for Garvagh (Boleran Road).
· At the end of this road turn left at the Tee-junction and go into Garvagh.
· In Garvagh go straight across at the cross-roads, for Kilrea - B64.
· Go 200m and turn left (opposite O’Connell’s garage), onto Station Road.
· Travel for 2 miles and the Sky-centre will be on the left.
Directions From Newry:
· Follow the signs for Armagh on the A28.
· In Armagh follow the signs for Dungannon and Cookstown on the A29.
· In Cookstown, follow the signs for Maghera / Coleraine on the A29.
· At the end of the main street in Cookstown turn right at the mini-roundabout for Moneymore / Magherafelt.
· In Moneymore at the mini-roundabout take the 1st exit for Maghera/Tobermore, the A29.
· In Tobermore village centre turn left at the Tee-junction and immediately right at the mini-roundabout for Maghera on the A29.
· On entering Maghera there will be a staggered cross-roads.
· Turn right and then immediately left, this is the main road towards Coleraine, A29.
· Travel for 10 miles until you reach Garvagh.
· In Garvagh, pass the town clock and turn right for Kilrea - B64.
· Go 200m and turn left (opposite O’Connell’s garage), this is Station Road.
· Travel for 2 miles and the Sky-centre will be on the left.
Directions From Enniskillen:
· Follow the signs for Dromore and Omagh on the A32.
· In Omagh, at traffic signals turn left (signposted All Other Routes), and at the next traffic signals turn left onto the A5 (signposted Dublin / Belfast).
· At junction with the A505, at the traffic signals, turn left (signposted Cookstown).
· Turn right at traffic signals at junction with the B48
· Travel towards Cookstown on the A505.
· On entering Cookstown turn left onto the main street, and follow the signs for Maghera, Coleraine on the A29.
· In Moneymore at the mini-roundabout take the exit for Maghera/Tobermore, on the A29.
· On entering Tobermore village centre turn left at the Tee-junction and then right at the mini-roundabout going along the A29 for Maghera.
· On entering Maghera there will be a staggered cross-roads. Turn right and then immediately left, this is the main road towards Coleraine, A29.
· Travel 10 miles until you reach Garvagh.
· Once in Garvagh turn right for Kilrea - B64, at the crossroad.
· Go 200m and turn left (opposite O’Connell’s garage), onto Station Road.
· Travel for 2 miles and the Sky-centre will be on the left.
Pick Ups:
For groups of visiting jumpers (3 or more) coming into the Province, by plane, boat or train, we can organise to have you picked up from any of the Province’s local air, rail and seaports. For this service we charge £20 per person return. If this is required, then contact us ASAP (at least 48hrs notice) to allow us to arrange, and co-ordinate this service for you. |
