  Welcome
  Getting Started:
Starting off in any sport, including Skydiving, is not cheap, ask those who take part in any sport. If you thought about doing a parachute jump of some kind, but may have been deterred by the cost, then read on.

Sponsorship:
Have you ever thought about Sponsorship.  Why not let others sponsor your jump and raise money for a good cause at the same time?  Just obtain a sponsorship form from us and begin to raise much needed funds for a charity or local cause/group of your choice.

Sponsorship
How It Works:
Simply send us your details:
Name, full address (including post code), age, weight, telephone number or e-mail address.
Also enclose a £30 commitment fee (non-refundable) which will come off your course fee. (see payment methods on price list page).

You will then be issued a sponsorship pack; begin fund raising immediately. The balance of the course fee can then be taken from the sponsorship funds collected, and the remainder given to the charity or cause of your choice; do this by sending it to them directly by cheque.

Raising Sponsorship:
Sponsorship
In certain cases it may be easier to jump from a plane than it is getting others to sponsor you for it.  Although you will get those who will joke “that they will, but only if you do the Jump without the parachute”, of course we are not going to let that happen.  Anyway, here are some tips to help on your way.

· Firstly, pick a date when this great event is going to happen, have your course booked, as people will want to know the when and where, plus the charity you are fund raising for.
· Start with your family, friends, works manager, those who will sponsor you the most, as this will set a high level for others to match or hopefully better.
· Learn more about the jump itself, as it will attract the interest of those potential sponsors.
· Set an amount as a target to reach for, however be realistic.
· Ask your employer, local business or bank to match what you raise.  This way it doubles your amount and they can get some great publicity from it.
· If you are involved with different clubs or groups ask them for ideas’ to fund raise.
· Always carry your sponsor form and a pen, you never know who you will meet.
· Hold a raffle (invest in a prize) or competition (pub quiz) and put the proceeds to your collection.
· Contact the charity or group that you are raising funds for.  Ask them for advice, facts and how best to make a donation.
· Some people are reluctant to give you money directly or up front.  Therefore, have them give you a posted dated cheque for shortly after the intended jump date, but no more than 6 months after the event.
