Membership details To
use our Scrapstore, you must be a member. Our membership is open to anyone who
works with children or young people (including parents or guardians), students,
community groups and those working with the elderly or adults with learning disabilities.
There are 2 levels of membership:
Members must sign an agreement not to use any of the resources they take from the Scrapstore in items that they sell. To do so will invalidate the membership. To join, simply download an application form here, print, complete using the membership category table below and post to us or bring it in with the relevant payment.
Please disregard any publicity material showing membership fees of £20.00 annual and £3.00 day rate. Members visiting the Scrapstore may fill a bag, and we ask for an additional donation of between £4 - £8 per bag. Non-members cannot use the Scrapstore but are very welcome to use our Craft Shop.
Three Golden Rules of Membership 1) We ask members only to take scrap and resources for the group /children their membership covers. 2) Members must NOT sell any items of scrap on and must not make items from the scrap to sell on. 3) Finally, we ask that members take responsibility for the scrap they are taking, in terms of the ages and abilities of the children and young people that they are working with.
Additional notes: We need to know which category our members belong to so that we can measure our reach and effectiveness. As a charity we have to maintain a register of members. We will therefore ask you to complete a membership form.
