HOT NEWS!!! A very successful week in Lacock! Thanks to everyone who helped make our 10th Anniversary week so successful! We met lots of new people, the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire came to see us, we made lots of children happy with our drop in crafty sessions and the whole week was a wonderful success.
Children's author Neil Griffiths was our guest of honour on Tuesday 27th October. He did two very popular story telling sessions and was available all day to sign his books. Wiltshire Scrapstore and Resource Centre were planning on increasing membership prices in 2009, but due to the current economic crisis, we have decided not to! We hope all our members will be happy to hear this decision and that you will come and visit us again soon. If you see any publicity material stating the new prices (£20.00 for Annual membership and £3.00 for day rate membership), please ignore it and know that the prices are £15.00 annual and £2.50 per day visit. Badge machines for hire! We have two badge machines available for hire. These cost £10.00 to hire for a week, and we also sell packs of badge components. These cost £7.00 for a bag to make 50 pin badges. We also have pin-less badge components available for very young children at just £7.00 for a bag to make 50 badges. You must be a member to book, then download the hire form, then return with deposit cheque (£20.00) or bring it into the Centre (cheque or cash only for the deposit please). Hire our room If you are looking for somewhere unusual to hold a staff meeting or similar, why not hire our training room? It can be hired from 9.30 - 4.30 and costs just £50.00 for a half day, or £80.00 for a full, including tea and coffee. If you would like to hire the room with a trainer for a creative event, this can be arranged from just £6.00 per person for a 90 minute session (minimum cost of £60.00. Contact us for further information. Scrap Swap! On Thursday 30th April, Wiltshire Scrapstore held their first ever Multi Scrap swap with 11 other Scrapstore from across the South of England.
