The Craft Shop & Scrapstore

Welcome To The Craft Shop !!!

Having been here for 5 months now, I have fully settled in. The shop is ever changing so take a trip up to see our new ideas and displays.

We have a new range of activity packs and also soon arriving, will activity packs to be used alongside the curriculum. I am currently in the process of ordering a new range of colours in our ready-mix paint, so keep an eye out for that!

I have a new selection of child friendly items in the shop, such as non-drip water pots, block palettes, finger paints, finger paint brushes and play dough at very competitive prices.

We now sell A3 and A4 blank canvasses for the artists out there! Or if you're just looking for some decorative items, we stock glitter in a wide range of colours, sequins, pom poms, wiggly eyes, coloured pens, pencils and pipe cleaners.

I also have a new range of fabric items. We now stock fabric paint in a wide selection of colours, fabric felt tips and fabric crayons.

Glass paint and glass paint outiners are now available!

I hope to see you all at the craft shop in the near future!

The Scrapstore !!!

 Scrap is donated to us by businesses, and is clean and safe for children and young people to use in creative activity.  Anything you see in the Scrapstore would normally have gone to landfill.

 

The scrap varies on a weekly basis but here is a selection of what is often available.

Paper : sheets, pads, rolls, wrapping, envelopes, wallpaper, stickers

Card : sheets, rolls, gold, silver, red, white, tubes, greeting cards

Containers : Lots of plastic tubs and trays

Books - New & second hand
Mount board : Lots of different sizes and colours

Wool: Lots in different colours

Cellophane : red, orange, clear, yellow, white

Fabrics : plain, patterned, cotton, upholstery, synthetics, rolls and scraps, furry, fluffy, mesh, wadding, lampshade, felt

Netting :wire and string

Leather : scraps, smooth, suede, furry

Cones & Reels : wooden, card, plastic

Odds & Ends : paper fasteners, corks, files, toys, elastic bands, pens, pencils, folders, sunglasses, boxes, elastic, string, records, cd’s, foam shapes, coloured sticky backed vinyl, paint, buttons

Bubble Wrap : clear, pink, grey

 

Remember, new things come in each week.

We are always looking for new commercial scrap. This must be clean and reusable and should not have been in contact with food. Most recycling companies will charge to collect such scrap. We don't - we collect for free and reuse it not throw it into landfill.

Access to the Scrapstore warehouse may be restricted on an age basis. We have a new, dedicated Play Corner though.
