St Michael's Way Charity Walk - 12 miles or shorter 6 mile option.
Macmillian and Rotary are calling for 100 people to participate in the
event to raise money for Macmillian. It is also hoped to establish this as
an annual walk. St Michael's Way - from Lelant Church to Mounts Bay
incorporating 2 of the most beautiful bays in the world. This route was
walked by the pilgrims from Ireland & Wales en-route to Santiago de
Compostela in Spain, who wished to avoid the treacherous sea-journey

The Cornish flag of St. Piran, representing a cross of tin on
rock. St. Piran is the patron saint of tin miners and of Cornwall. His day
-March 5th - is celebrated throughout the county with the focus on a service
and procession to the site of his church at Perranporth sands
