Events

Estuary netting  The next estuary netting will take place on the Inver on 25th June with Donna-Claire. August nettings will be the 10th (Kyle of Durness), 11th (Laxford) and 13th (Polla). Please feel free to join us and see what we get up to. For further details contact the Biologist.

Demonstrations  While there are no planned electrofishing demonstrations during 2010, the Biologists are happy to demonstrate the technique to anyone, or why not come along to a survey and watch. Contact the Biologist for details.

There are currently no vacancies within the Trust.

Publications

Newsletter.  The Trust produces 2 Newsletters a year, giving information on the work of the Trust and happenings around  the area.

 

Poster.         The Trust has produced a publicity poster. If you think that you can promote the Trust, then please feel free to download the attached, or e-mail the Biologist (wsft@btconnect.com).

 

Annual Review  The Trust produces an Annual Review with details of all the work undertaken that year. Contact the Biologist (wsft@btconnect.com) for a copy or download here. Price, £5 to non-members.

 

Fishery Management Plan    The Trust has produced a Fishery Management Plan for its area, to run from 2008 - 2013. This document will lead much of the work of the Trust over this period.

 

Biosecurity Plan   The Trust has produced a Biosecurity Plan for the area. This involves a number of stakeholders and is considered an important aspect of the protection of riverine areas.
