Windows XP (must have licence key), activate and update,
locate and install drivers, load appropriate software

- Recover
Data from hard drive prior to reload - depending on quantity
of data - from £10.00
- Recovery
Disk - to make a recovery disk after reload - £15.00

THAT DATA.
GENERAL
LABOUR CHARGES:
There
will be a minmum charge of £20.00 for repairs/upgrades.
If a computer is brought in for a repair assessment, but the
Customer declines the repair, then £20.00 is charged
for the assessment.
Some
examples of labour charges:

power supply - £20.00 + parts
- Change
mainboard, CPU - £50.00 + parts
- Change
case (move all components to a new case) - £40.00
+ parts
- Fit
desktop RAM - £5.00 + parts
- Fit
laptop RAM - £10.00 + parts
- Scan
for viruses and spyware - £30.00
- Fit
new hard drive (no O/S) - £20.00 + parts
- Replace
failed hard drive, reload O/S etc. - £60.00 + parts
- Insurance
report for a "dead" computer - £25.00 (If
Xgates Computers are then contracted to repair/replace,
then £15.00 of the report fee is set against that
repair/replacement)
