They come in either "hard wired" or wireless varieties:

We can also provide professional quality security systems using 4, 8, or 16 port camera capture cards, giving full recording and playback facilities. Images can be viewed over the Internet, real time, and recorded remotely.

Note that the professional system needs a web browser with ActiveX configured.
