• 2000 - ZSL Security Systems established with premises in Ambergate, Derbyshire, by Karl Smith.
• 2002 - VAT registration.
• 2003 - Acquisition of Vital Alarms of Nottingham.
• 2004 - Move to larger premises in Ripley, Derbyshire.
• 2006 - ZSL Security Systems becomes incorporated - ZSL Security Systems Ltd.
• 2007 - Jason Jones joins ZSL Security Systems Ltd as Technical Director.
• 2007 - Merger with On Guard Security Systems of Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.
• 2008 - Accreditation with the National Security Inspectorate (NSI).
• 2008 - Move to larger premises in South Normanton, Derbyshire.
